Newsletter Advertising -- Electronic Table of Contents Alerts (E-mail Alerts)
JAMA and each of the specialty Archives journals offer “e-mail alerts.” An e-mail alert includes the most current table of contents delivered in a text-based e-mail format and sent to opt-in e-mail subscribers. Frequency of delivery depends on the publication productions, but varies from weekly (JAMA) to bi-monthly. E-mail alerts are an extremely valuable source of information because they frequently reach their subscribers in advance of the print editions.
